Stump Work Tha Follows Your Rules
Commercial properties and HOA communities have rules, and we know how to work inside them. Office parks, apartment complexes, shopping centers, HOA common areas, parks, church grounds, we handle stump work on all of them.
If your community or property requires approval before work starts, we make that part easy. We're licensed (CSLB #1109884) and insured, and we can provide whatever documentation your board, property manager, or facility team needs, certificates of insurance, license info, a written scope of work for the approval packet. Send us the requirements and we'll have the paperwork to you.
We also work around your rules on site. Set work hours, quiet hours, gate access, parking restrictions, resident notices, tell us the guidelines and we build the job around them. If work can only happen between certain hours or on certain days, we schedule it that way from the start.
Multiple stumps across a property is our normal. We can knock out a whole community's list in one mobilization instead of piecemeal visits, one schedule, one point of contact, one cleanup. When we leave, the site is raked out and clear. No grindings left in the common area, no mess for the landscaping crew to deal with.
Property managers and board members: if you're gathering bids for a project, we're easy to work with. One walkthrough, a written estimate, and clear communication the whole way through.

We meet you or your property manager on site, look over the stumps, and go over any property rules we need to work within. That's everything we need to put an estimate together.

Commercial & HOA Stump Grinding
Stumps on a commercial property or in an HOA community are a different kind of problem than a stump in a backyard. They sit in common areas, greenbelts, parkways, and parking lot islands where residents walk, kids play, and mowers pass every week and every one of them is a trip hazard with the property's name on it. DemoRex provides stump grinding for HOAs, property management companies, apartment complexes, retail centers, school grounds, and commercial properties throughout Fresno, Clovis, Sanger, and the Central Valley.
The liability math is simple. A stump in a common area is a documented walking hazard, and communities get held responsible for what they knew about and left in place. Beyond the risk, stumps drag down the look of a maintained property. A manicured greenbelt with dead stumps scattered through it reads as neglect, and boards and owners hear about it. Grinding removes the hazard and the eyesore in one pass: each stump taken below grade, the spot backfilled with its own grindings or topped for re-sod, and the area back to mowable, walkable ground.
Volume is where we earn the call. Communities rarely have one stump, they have a dozen across three streets, or a whole parkway's worth after a tree removal project. We grind them as one mobilization: walk the property with your manager or board member, mark and count every stump, quote the full scope, and clear the list in as few visits as possible. One quote, one crew, one invoice, instead of a stump-by-stump trickle that takes a season.
We're built to work on managed properties. Scheduling goes around residents, business hours, and landscape crews; work areas are controlled while the grinder runs; and cleanup happens before we move to the next stump, not at the end of the week. We're licensed (CSLB #1109884) and insured, and documentation for your property management file, including certificates of insurance, is available on request. For communities with ongoing tree work, we're an easy standing number: as trees come down through the year, the stumps disappear behind them.
If your property's stumps come with bigger plans — regrading a common area, clearing a neglected corner, or prepping ground for new landscaping — our dirt work and land clearing services tie in as one project. Start with the walkthrough: we'll count the stumps, quote the scope, and give your board or owner a number that's easy to say yes to.

Maintained Means All the Way Down
A property tells on itself at ground level. Lawns can be mowed weekly and hedges kept square, but a stump in the middle of it all says the maintenance stopped where the hard part started and residents, tenants, and prospective buyers read that message whether they realize it or not. Finished ground is what separates a property that's mowed from a property that's managed.
There's also the version of this no board wants to deal with after the fact: an incident report with a stump in it. The common areas people cross every day shouldn't include obstacles the community already knew about. Grinding the stumps out is one of the cheapest line items on a maintenance budget that removes an actual liability, most items just make the property look better; this one makes it safer and look better in the same pass.
