DECK PORCH & PATIO REMOVAL

DECK, PORCH, AND PATIO DEMOLITION PROFESSIONALS

Serving Fresno, Clovis, Sanger , and the Central Valley

Clear The Outdoor Space, Footings And All

Deck and porch removal is more than pulling up boards. Wood decks come apart in order: decking, railings, stairs, then the frame and underneath sit the posts and concrete footings, which either come out of the ground or get cut below grade depending on what's going in next. Attached decks and covered porches take extra care where they meet the house, so the ledger comes off without damaging the siding or leaving the wall open to water. Concrete patios are a different job entirely: break, load, and haul, same as any slab.

DemoRex removes wood decks, covered porches, patio covers, pergolas, and concrete patios throughout the Central Valley. We take the structure down in sequence, pull or cut the footings based on your plans, seal up where it tied into the house, and haul everything off, lumber and concrete sorted for recycling where it can be. What's left is open, level ground ready for a new deck, patio, or landscaping.

What Our Customers Are Saying About Us

Javier        ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   11/05/2025

“David Romero is an exceptional professional with a clear understanding of his work. He successfully removed three stumps from my property. A task that required significant effort. I intend to utilize his services for future projects should the need arise. I highly recommend David: he is the ideal choice for such tasks.

Deck, Porch, and Patio Removal

Old decks, porches, and patio covers don't just look tired, they rot, sag, pull away from the house, and become the part of the property everyone avoids. DemoRex demolishes and hauls out decks, porches, patio covers, pergolas, gazebos, and outdoor structures for homes and commercial properties throughout Fresno, Clovis, and the Central Valley.     Front yard, backyard, or a commercial patio space, it all comes down the same way: planned, controlled, and cleaned up behind.

We remove the whole structure, whatever it's made of. Wood decking and framing, composite decking, concrete patios and footings, posts, railings, stairs, and ramps. Roofed structures are no problem — shingle roofs, metal roofing, and wood roofing all come down with the frame. If the structure has walls, windows, or screens, enclosed patios, sunrooms, screened porches, those come down too when the job calls for it. Built-in BBQ areas and outdoor kitchens are included, whether they're brick, block, stucco, wood, or metal.

Structures attached to the house get special attention. We separate the deck or patio cover from the home cleanly, protecting your siding, stucco, and roofline at the connection points so you're left with a surface ready for repair or new construction and not damage that adds to the project.

Utilities are handled before demo day. Gas lines to BBQs and fire pits, electrical for fans and lighting, and water lines to outdoor sinks get shut off prior to demolition. We can take care of it, or your preferred plumber or electrician can. Footings are part of the conversation too: concrete post footings can be pulled out completely or cut below grade, depending on what's going in the space next.

Access works like every DemoRex job. Standard gates are fine, tight side yards get equipment sized to fit, and when a backyard truly has no path, we can remove a fence section or hand-carry material out. Every stick, every chunk of concrete, and every load of debris leaves with us. The space ends clear, level, and ready for whatever replaces it.

What "Gone" Actually Looks Like

When a patio or covered structure comes out, the ground underneath tells the truth. Sometimes it's level and ready as-is, and sometimes there's a low spot where a slab sat or footings came out. That's not a problem, it's just the next question: dirt can be brought in, spread, and leveled so the area finishes flush with the rest of the yard instead of sitting sunken. It's worth deciding before demo day what the space is becoming, lawn, new concrete, pavers, or open yard, because that answer decides how the ground gets left.

The other thing that surprises people is the space itself. A patio cover or old structure shrinks a yard in a way you don't notice until it's gone. Suddenly there's open sky, more light into the house, and room the backyard hasn't had in years.   Whether that space gets rebuilt better or just stays open, the demolition is what puts the choice back on the table.
