POOL DECK DEMOLITION
POOL DECK REMOVAL EXPERTS
Serving Fresno, Clovis, Sanger , and the Central Valley
The Concrete Around the Pool
We remove pool decking of every kind, full tear-outs, partial removals, or a single cracked section saw cut clean and hauled away. Standard pours, thick pours, and rebar or wire mesh-reinforced decking all come out, worked in controlled sections that protect the pool shell, coping, and bond beam. Skimmer lines, drainage, and equipment plumbing under the deck get located and worked around, and built-in features tied into the decking — fire pits, spas, planters — are part of the plan. We run both small and large equipment to fit backyard access, and every job starts with a free on-site quote.

Free On-Site Walkthrough
Every pool deck job starts with a free on-site walkthrough. We look at the decking, the plumbing underneath, what's staying, and how we're getting equipment back there, then quote the whole job before a single cut happens near your pool.

The Concrete Around the Pool Gone Without Touching What Stays
Pool decking wears out faster than pools do. Decades of sun, water, and settling leave the concrete around a pool cracked, sunken, and dated, and whether the pool is staying, getting remodeled, or coming out entirely, the decking has to go. DemoRex removes pool decking throughout Fresno, Clovis, Sanger, and the Central Valley: full deck tear-outs, partial removals, and everything surrounding the water.
Working around a pool is precision demolition, and that's the point of hiring it out. The decking gets saw cut and broken in controlled sections, protecting the pool shell, the coping, and the bond beam at the pool's edge, so a decking removal doesn't turn into a pool repair. If the pool is staying, we keep debris out of the water and work clean around it; if the pool's going too, the decking and the pool demolition happen as one project, one crew, one plan.
There's more under pool decking than people realize, and we plan for all of it. Skimmer lines, return piping, and equipment plumbing run through and under that concrete, along with deck drains and drainage runs, everything gets located and worked around or removed per the project's needs. Built-in features come out too: fire pits and their propane or gas lines (shut off and handled before demo, by us or your preferred trade), in-ground spas and hot tubs tied into the decking, planters, and raised bond beam work. If it's attached to the deck, it's part of the conversation.
Backyard access is what we're built for. We run both small and large equipment, so tight side yards get compact machines and open access gets the larger ones. Hand work fills the gaps where machines shouldn't go. When the decking's gone, the ground around your pool is clear and ready for the new deck, pavers, or whatever the remodel calls for. And if grading or dirt work is part of that plan, it's one more thing that happens on the same job instead of another contractor's schedule.

What's Under a Cracked Deck Doesn't Have to Stay There
A cracked pool deck rarely stays a cosmetic problem for long, once concrete starts failing that close to the water, it's only a matter of time before it becomes a growing financial issue instead of just an eyesore. Getting it out takes controlled, careful work: breaking concrete in sections close to the pool shell and coping, without the shortcuts that turn a deck removal into a pool repair. The goal isn't just removing what's broken, it's protecting everything around it while doing it.
