It also covers the precision work that gets a space ready for new construction: saw cutting and core drilling through concrete so new plumbing and electrical can be rerun, wall cutouts and door cutouts to reshape the floor plan, and back door and opening cutouts where the new layout calls for them. Flooring comes out too — tile, carpet, VCT, and the adhesive underneath, taken down to clean concrete.
